Percs Logo

The Provincial Emergency Radio Communications Service Alberta, also known as PERCS Alberta, was founded to support the Alberta Emergency Management Agency with communications in the event of a catastrophic failure of the public communications systems.

With three successful deployments by the AEMA over the last 5 years it has become apparent to both the AEMA and PERCS that a dedicated group with a specific focus on provincial communications is required.

For more information please see the about us section of this site.

To join Percs please complete the quick membership request form and our membership committee will contact you to get the process moving.

Our new repeater is now operational.  You can monitor it at 444.650 + 5 offset.  The main tone is 67.0 for both transmit and receive.  In the event of an activation we will switch the transmit PL to 77.0.  This will allow our members to monitor the repeater for an activation without being bothered by the day to day traffic.

Be sure to read our acceptable use policy prior to using this repeater.

AEMA Logo The Alberta Emergency Management Agency provides a multitude of programs and services to Alberta before, during and after a disaster.  For more information about these programs and services please see the AEMA website.

 Public Safety is everyone's responsibility!

Disaster can occur anywhere, at anytime. It is your responsibility to ensure you are prepared if a disaster occurs. Alberta Emergency Alerts are issued to assist you—providing you with critical information about an immediate disaster, where it is occurring and what action you need to take.
